Kareena Kapoor’s Income Tax Account Hacker Is A Cop?
2017 has started on a good note for Kareena as the hacker, who had infiltrated her income tax account last year, has been arrested. But there is a twist in the story
Kareena Kapoor, who welcomed her first child, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, just weeks ago, must be breathing a sigh of relief. The cyber police on Monday arrested a 26-year-old man for hacking the star’s income tax account in September last year.
And here is the shocker. According to reports, the hacker is reportedly a Central armed police employee and hails from North India.
The accused said he turned hacker so that he could get Kareena’s phone number and talk to her as he is a big fan of Kareena Kapoor.
According to reports, the accused had used a mobile phone to hack into the actor’s account.
“A mobile phone too has several IP addresses assigned to it. We had to figure out which phone had been allotted the IP address when the fraud took place,” an officer said, reported a leading daily.
The man confessed that he hacked Kareena Kapoor’s I-T account by getting access to her PAN number, which he found online.
He was hoping to get his hands on Kareena’s phone number by filing her returns. The accused then changed her password.
After his confession, the police has taken him into custody.
Kareena’s Chartered Accountant had filed a complaint on 1 October, 2016 at the BKC Cyber police station, culminating in an FIR.
